I take time to remember the good deeds of God. I remember to remember what He’s done for me. It’s so true. I have been through the fire and not been burned, and I have been through the waters and not been overwhelmed and I’ve been through the deep waters and not been drowned.
He’s made all things beautiful in its time. He’s worked and is working all things together for the good. What the enemy meant for evil, God has turned and is turning around for good. I know the best is yet to come because I believe. The future is bright because my good Father is already there. I know He is good because of what He’s already done. It’s not coincidence or luck, it’s His blessing and favour.
The favour of God is on me. Since God is for me, who can be against me? It’s not death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither my fears for today nor my worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate me from God’s love.
Does it mean He no longer loves me if I have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is mine through Christ, who loved me.
I reap what I sow. I plant positive seeds by thinking about whatever is good because I know the harvest will arrive and I will reap the benefits. So I have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. I look for what God loves in each of them and not just how they inconvenience or benefit my life. Christ’s love compels me and His life is me.
Today, I look for what He is doing and thank Him for what He has done.
Reflection Questions to ask Holy Spirit:
- What is a difficult situation that God helped me through?
- What is a miracle I’ve witnessed in other people’s life?
- Do I wait with fear or enthusiasm for what I might find around the corner?
